LIMSCAPE Privacy Policy

SMOOTHEA Corporation (“we”) handles information relating to LIMSCAPE, the Standalone and Steam editions, LIMSCAPERS, Multiplay, the Licence Center, and related services (the “Services”) as described below.

1. Information We Collect

• Display name, nickname, email address, account ID, and identifiers provided through Google authentication or similar login services.
• IP address, User-Agent, cookies, session data, device ID and name, operating system, app version, and login and last-use times.
• Purchase, order, payment-result, refund, Invite Code, Full Licence, device activation, app session, and usage-time records.
• Stages, `.limscape` files, thumbnails, images, video, audio, comments, tags, visibility settings, branch relationships, reports, and support messages you submit.
• Multiplay room and connection data, connection status, and transmission information relating to voice, video, chat, and shared files.
• Error, security, operation, and audit logs.

2. How We Use Information

• Authentication and management of accounts and licences.
• Purchases, payments, refunds, Invite Codes, and fraud prevention.
• Providing LIMSCAPERS, Multiplay, UGC sharing, comments, branches, and other features.
• Detecting and responding to spam, fraud, unauthorized access, security risks, and Terms violations.
• Troubleshooting, service improvement, aggregate analytics, support, and important notices.
• Legal compliance, protection of rights, and dispute handling.

3. Multiplay and Peer-to-Peer Connections

When WebRTC or other peer-to-peer technology is used, IP addresses and network information required to establish a connection may be disclosed to peers and to STUN, TURN, signaling, or other communications providers. Voice, video, chat, stage data, and shared files are transmitted to participants. Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, we do not intend to permanently record peer-to-peer voice or video content, but we cannot completely prevent participants from saving or recording communications.

4. Service Providers and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information where required by law, necessary to protect life or property, or with consent. To operate the Services, we may engage hosting and communications providers, authentication providers such as Google, payment providers such as Stripe, email, security, and analytics providers. Processing may occur outside your country.

5. Payment Data

Payment-card details are generally collected directly by the payment provider. We receive order IDs, checkout-session IDs, payment status, amount, currency, refund data, and other information needed to manage purchases and licences.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and local storage for login, security, and interface operation. We may introduce analytics tools to understand service use and will provide notice where required.

7. Retention

As a general target, account and ordinary usage information is retained for up to three years after last use or until a deletion request is completed. Purchase, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, rights-protection, and audit records may be retained longer where legally or operationally necessary. Deletion from backups may take a reasonable period.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as access control, hashing, encryption, and log monitoring. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your Requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, restriction, or deletion of personal information. We may verify identity. Records required for licences, transactions, legal compliance, or legitimate security purposes may need to be retained.

10. Children

Users under 13 may not use LIMSCAPERS or online features without parental or guardian consent. Minors must obtain any consent required by applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy for legal or service changes. Material changes will be announced through the Services or official website.
